Anaheim’s Brewery X Opens First Brewpub Inspired Eatery in San Diego

09.04.24

Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina has just opened Brewery X Harbor Island, a collaboration with Brewery X, a popular SoCal brewery founded by San Diego State alumni. This new addition is part of the hotel’s $100 million renovation aimed at bringing the best of SoCal to the resort.

Brewery X Harbor Island offers a laid-back, all-day SoCal Brew Pub experience with expertly crafted beverages, craveable chef-driven bar bites, and a dog-friendly patio. Guests can enjoy seasonal activations like live music, trivia nights, and game day viewing parties, ensuring there’s always a reason to visit.

From noon till night, Brewery X serves a range of dishes including chef-crafted burgers, gourmet salads, hearty handhelds, and festive fries. The menu features shareable starters like wings, the signature Crack Taco, and creamy mac n’ cheese. Entrees include the Kitchen Sink Salad, the Burger X, and the bacon-wrapped S.O.K. Dog. There’s also a selection of brick oven pizzas and desserts like the Cheesecake “Shandy” and a Boozy White Russian Float.

Brewery X's origins are deeply rooted in San Diego, with CEO Clayton Wellbank and Chief Brewing Officer Trevor Walls both alumni of San Diego State University. Trevor, a Master Brewer, focuses on creating clean, true beers without unnecessary additives, brewing about 30,000 barrels per year with plans to increase to 100,000.

Brewery X Harbor Island features a robust selection of the brand’s popular beers and hard seltzers brewed at their Anaheim headquarters, along with options from other well-known San Diego brewers. The beverage menu also includes a variety of seltzers, creative cocktails, and a selection of wines, with a focus on unadulterated beer production and innovative flavor combinations.

Brewery X is open seven days a week. Food is served daily from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.; and bar hours are 11 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina is located at 1380 Harbor Island Drive in San Diego, California.
